Legally-trained oversight
Every matter is handled by law students, paralegals, and lawyers — not call-centre dispatchers. The legal understanding and attention to detail that typical process servers do not offer.
BRITISH COLUMBIA · CANADA
Kamloops is our anchor for the BC Interior. We file at the Kamloops Law Courts at 455 Columbia Street, which houses both the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court for the Thompson-Nicola region. Our coverage reaches downtown, Sahali, and Aberdeen, then extends out across the surrounding ranching country to Merritt, Chase, and Cache Creek. Rural service across the Interior is a routine part of our week here.

How We Work in Kamloops
Our paralegals and law-student agents draft the affidavit of service and assemble the filing package before dispatch, which matters more in the Interior than in the Lower Mainland because a bounced filing means a return trip across substantial distance. The Kamloops Law Courts host the Supreme Court of BC and the Provincial Court under one roof, which keeps coordinated service across multiple matters efficient. The local docket combines Thompson-Nicola regional work, including ranching disputes, mining and forestry counterparty service, and family or child-protection matters, with a steady commercial practice tied to Thompson Rivers University and the city's transportation-crossroads role. Interior BC circuit work routes through Kamloops, with files extending to Merritt, Williams Lake, and 100 Mile House. Indigenous-community considerations are routine here, since the surrounding region includes several Secwepemc First Nations communities, and we plan service with that in mind.

Service Notes
The Kamloops registry counter is open 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday. We file Supreme Court civil and Provincial small claims documents through Court Services Online (CSO) where possible, and walk packages in for the registry stamp when rush timing requires it. Same-day service in Kamloops proper is generally realistic when documents reach us before mid-morning; Merritt and other circuit destinations are typically next-day, and we batch rural runs to keep cost down. Large ranches, gated properties, and seasonal road conditions in the surrounding region all factor into how we plan an attempt.
Procedure We Handle
We handle the procedural side so you don't have to track the rules. Service in BC follows the Supreme Court Civil Rules, with Rule 4-3 governing personal service of the notice of civil claim and other originating documents, and Rule 4-4 governing alternative or substituted service. When personal service is impracticable, our paralegals document each attempt — date, time, location, and what happened — and prepare the affidavit and chambers application for an order under Rule 4-4 before any alternate method is used. You receive a sworn affidavit of service ready to file, or we file it through CSO or in person at the Kamloops Law Courts on your behalf.
Send us the documents and the details. We confirm jurisdictional requirements, pricing, and timelines before service begins.
